USA Triathlon offers several educational opportunities for coaches, race directors and officials. Select from the courses below.

This application is for coaches interested in running a USA Triathlon Approved Coach to Coach Mentorship Program. The Coach to Coach Mentorship Application costs $100. Approval is valid for 1 calendar year (from the date of application acceptance through 12/31/2020). Program Overview Mentor coaches will have the autonomy to design and run their mentorship programs Mentorship programs should be at least 3 months but can be up to 12 months in length If approved, USAT requires you to run the mentorship program as it was communicated to USAT via this application application and take ownership for the success of your mentorship program A mentorship agreement between mentor and mentee is encouraged Communicate to USAT Coaching Education all coaches that participated in your mentorship program as well as any additional feedback your receive regarding your mentorship program Approved Coach to Coach Mentorship Programs will be awarded USAT CEUs USAT will promote Approved Mentorship Programs on the USAT website and during 2020 Level I Coach Clinics Upon mentorship completion, a mentorship evaluation form will be submitted by mentees to USA Triathlon Coaching Education. Submission of the mentorship evaluation form is required for the mentee to earn USAT CEUs. Late Recertification Policy All USAT Certified Coaches not completing recertification by their expiration date, will have their certification revoked until late recertification is completed.  Late recertification submitted January 1 - December 31 (one month – 12 months after recertification was due): A $50 late fee is required (additional to the $95 recertification application fee). Additionally, coaches must complete 5 more USAT approved CEUs on top of their already required amount and complete the regular recertification requirements to be reinstated as current.  Late recertification submitted after December 31 (one year after recertification was due): Coaches must retake the coaching certification exam that coincides with their coaching level and pay the $100 fee to take the exam. USA Triathlon is continually striving to raise the bar for multisport events and to give athletes the best experience possible to keep them coming back for more. To ensure that all sanctioned events meet a minimum level of quality and safety, USAT has created a Mandatory Education course that will be required for any race director who has sanctioned three or fewer events with USAT.
