Creating an efficient swimming stroke is a complicated process. It involves not only good form and mechanics but also the understanding of how the body physically moves through the water, how stroke rate and distance per stroke should be taken into consideration, and also determining what training prescription should be applied to develop the energy system in need as well as support the dominant energy system.
